Carried by the Archdiocese of Montreal and rooted in its mission, the CICRM offers its expertise to parishes to assist them in making decisions about their properties and their future.

As a strategic partner and intermediary between churches, municipalities, governments, development partners, and all stakeholders, the CICRM facilitates and supports projects by providing comprehensive guidance according to industry best practices. All this is done with the intention of honoring heritage whenever possible while addressing the pressing needs of the community.

Parishes seeking options or ready to begin a conversion or sale process are invited to contact the CICRM. It will then accompany the parishes at every stage of the process, from property analysis to project completion. Each case will be evaluated to determine the optimal approach: redevelopment, sale, rental, transformation, etc. The CICRM relies on a team of experts whose mission is to develop high social impact projects in line with the Church’s community values and protect heritage whenever possible.
